Snow was coming in at least an inch an hour during our tour this morning. When we got to the head wall at the top we observed at least 4 new snow avalanches that were actively occurring naturally. They were running roughly 150-200 ft. before stopping as the slope angle decreased. We bailed and skied Patterson's ridge back down.
