Problem #1 Comments
I stayed on low angle slopes so didn't experience any shifting in the snowpack. I did observe the large natural that ran on Reynolds last week.

Problem #2 Comments
The incredible Janubury snows and winds have piled up the cornices on Reynolds. I'm definitely staying clear of those until the snowpack becomes solid. Even then, being underneath them is sketch.
Comments
I snowshoed the area from Dog Lake well to the right of Reynolds. The snow in the pines was incredible and was not impacted with sun or rain crust. Only a few backcountry skiers had been in the area. Those skiing below Reynolds were doing so in the pines and seemed to be conservative in route finding.
Meanwhile, the snow at the lower section of Mill D was suncrusted and icy in spots.
Weather was cloudy with a few snow flurries. Temperature near freezing with calm winds.
