The snow pack on Nebo is slightly complicated right now. I dug a pit on north aspect at 9200ft there is around 130cm (50in) total with the bottom 24in being loose facets. Then a layer of well bonded snow, topped with loose compactable snow. The mid bonded layer is bridging the faceted layer. This is creating a false sense of stability and stubborn ECT tests, our failed at 24. Also riding feels more stable and like the snow pack is healing but it's not. Some of our test slopes failed but not until a second or third sled hit it. When they did fail they were large and deep. The faceted layer had compressed a couple inches in the week but showed no other signs of healing yet. Still needing to play it safe.
