moonlight historic skinner on sub ridge. 8800' our party got a 40' crack n whoomp which tells me that it would have slid if more angle.
we turbailed.
note to self- the historic skinner to moonlight has a steep pitch just above road which is a problem with most of mineral. Even once you gain ridge and are planning on shorting the headwall there is a small section steeper than 30 further up. If your plan is less than 30 (degrees), and mostly nothing overhead, even pushing it moonlight and most of mineral is out.
lower summer road looks different, just about all of it is angled, lots of wind drifted snow.
