Massive, deep crack running at least 30' along the gigantic cornices on the south ridge of Cardiff. Looked like it had the potential to release any day now, but I didn't stick around long enough to find out.
noticed small soft wind slabs ~3" deep breaking in hellgate backbowl but they were not moving too fast or traveling very far. Definitely got worse as the day went on. I can imagine that based on conditions up at Alta that the slabs are deeper and perhaps more consequential today.
