Snow surface ranged from very firm melt freeze on west facing slopes to soft corn skiing on south-east facing slopes getting softer as we lost elevation from 11,000- 8,600'.

We came across this avalanche in Centennial off the back of the Gargoyles that ran sometime in the last few days.
