With all the snow, and wind, there are a lot of "big" cornices along the ridge top from Farmington Canyon south to Bountiful Canyon. We saw a number of cornice debris on the upper steep slopes.

Up on the high, exposed, ridge lines we spotted a lot of cornice debris and wind slabs. One of those had released (I figure) during the weekend storm(s). See pic below.

I dug a east facing pit at about 8k feet. It was deep and I suspect it was a little wind loaded. But it measured roughly 320cm's deep. The extended column test resulted in a ECTX, or, results. When I ran my shovel down the back of the column I was able to get a shear in the new/old snow interface at about 40cm's deep. See pic below.
