Comments
The snow surfaces were weaker than we were expecting. Southerly-facing slopes never warmed up, and there was roughly an inch of cold, dry snow on top of an old melt-freeze crust. The snow surface has weakened on the shady aspects in the wind protected areas, and small grain faceted snow could pose a problem this week. Overall, the surfaces have gotten weak, and it will be worth keeping an eye on them with the incoming snow and weather this week.
