Obvious wind loading and cornice formation on ridge lines along with cross loaded gullies from the winds since the last storm.

Comments
Snow pit dug on NE aspect at 7800' just below a sub ridge on an open slope. HS 285cm. CT14 SC@ 265cm on P hard wind slab, CT 29 RP@ 230cm. This setup seemed to be in isolated areas below ridges and was fairly easily avoidable at 8000' and below.
