Weather Comments
Wind from the WNW in the teens. Much less bothersome than Sunday's wind, and did not see snow being transported. Cloudy and light to moderate snow most of the time from 10:30a to 2:30p, but a brief period of direct sun with hard shadows just after noon. But then back into the snowglobe. About two inches fell in that time.

Snow Characteristics Comments
Really wonderful light new snow, about 8 to 9 inches of fresh. No wind loading or crusts on the moderate angle west-facing aspens. Obvious drifts and pillows near the ridge. Skin track was a bit of work, but the turns were very good. Total depth near the bottom of the run, at 8,650', was 210cm. When I dug a pit there five weeks ago, total depth was 165cm.

Red Flags Comments
Saw one small natural on a steep north-facing drainage at 8,700'. Photo attached. I was expecting to see this after the wind and fresh snowfall we experienced Sunday about a mile to the north. Did not experience any sluffing or collapsing on the moderate north-facing terrain we were skiing today.
Except for the steepest north and east facing areas and along wind-loaded ridges, I would expect mostly low danger conditions tomorrow. I would give the ridges and the steeps a few more days to settle down.
