Snow Characteristics Comments
Looks like anywhere from 6-8" of new low density snow that has accumulated the last few days covering most of the old tracks and making a nice reset. The riding is quite good and very supportable and only a few tress and stumps to watch for in the Mill Creek Drainage. The snow depth in the area is around 100-120cm (40-48") where I measured which is pretty decent for this location.

Red Flags Comments
The cold low density snow is easily blown around into soft shallow wind drifts and I did not find any that were sensitive. I would think in some bigger terrain some of these are getting a little more reactive to a person.

Problem #1 Comments
No real reactive wind drifts today where I traveled, but in some steeper terrain there might be some soft slabs that would crack and be sensitive to a rider.
Comments
Generally pretty good snow coverage in the Mill Creek area with a few trees and stumps around. The riding and turning is very good on a go anywhere base with around 6" new low density snow from the last couple days.
The weather was still quite cold with some sunshine, but it looked like the west side of the highway around Whitney Basin was the sunny place to be today.
