Problem
Wind Drifted Snow

Problem #1 Comments
Strong SW winds causing a ton of snow transport. Any area outside of sheltered trees had significant windslab development. Significantly worse above ~8600ft. Turned around lower than intended as a result.

Problem #2 Comments
Dug a pit to ground in a wind sheltered area about 8900ft E facing. Very deep (230cm!) at this location/aspect. Nov surface facet layer was difficult to identify based on how much it has rounded and blended into the surrounding layers. Pit here corroborates many other obs in central cottonwoods and general trend for this problem layer to be healing/healed in deeper snowpack locations.
