Our party made an ascent of 10420 via the "picnic tree" ridge line early Saturday morning. We observed shooting cracks in the 6" of new storm snow both on the ridge line and in the low angle sections of the Promised Land. The attached photo shows cracks/sliding along our skin track on the way up. The new storm snow did not appear to be well bonded to the previous surface.
