Thin snowpack low in the canyon in the 8500 ft range. Hand pits showed 15-20 cm of basal facets.

Lots of collapsing low in the tour. snowpack was deeper and felt better higher up. Going to stay away from steep, open, shady faces for a while still. Not to be trusted. Id call it a scary Moderate, Moderate +.
