Problem #1 Comments
New snow average 3 inches to blow around into starting zones. Clouds were moving quickly and conditions were cold and breezy. Enough to fill in the skin track at the ridge.
Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Trend

Problem #2 Comments
Weak existing snow is bonding poorly. (Sloughs) wind has formed slabs in places on top.
Comments
We found better than expected riding at the Grove and didn't see any cracking or collapsing. I suspect that could be different in places that the wind has formed a slab on top. The few inches of new snow was easily transported by wind.
