Got up to the Logan Peak area today. Excellent riding conditions today on north facing aspects and surprisingly decent skiing on south aspects as well. Minor cornice development on the entrance to Chastity Bowl but there didn't seem to be any slab formation below it or throughout the bowl. The upper ~10 cm of snow seems to be faceting and there were impressive surface hoar crystals in some areas. Overall the snowpack was pretty uniform and almost entirely 4F. There was some slightly weaker snow in the bottom 5-10 cm of the snowpack but it seemed to be rounding and was fairly moist. The layer of near surface facets wasn't deep enough here to make the loose facetalanche conditions super concerning unless you happened to be in extreme no fall zone terrain.
