One of the colder starts to the day with single digits and a northwest wind put the temps in minus territory. It was warmer with some elevation gain and felt like things are slowly warming up a bit.

What little snow there is around the Bald Mt. area is still pretty decent, but the surface snow is getting quite weak with this stretch of cold clear weather. The riding and turning is very limited at this elevation and would not recommend doing much off trail riding with so many rocks and hazards.

No red flags observed, but watching how the surface snow is growing weaker.
Comments
It is still a little on the thin side around Bald Mt. with a only a foot to two feet and there are still a few folks driving the highway with 4-wheel drive and good tires.
We are still a few good storms away from any good safe riding as conditions are rocky and thin.
