Snow Characteristics Comments
There was still plenty of soft snow to be had in areas that had some sheltering from the wind during the last storm. The snowpack is still very thin (40-60cm), but is quite supportable and right side up.

Red Flags Comments
The wind has wreaked havoc on the snow in the La Sals and as we approached timberline we encountered small windslabs that were sliding on a hard wind buff layer from our windstorm last Sunday. I would guess that there are some larger wind slabs up higher in the alpine that are reactive right now.

Snow is still shallow. Can see the dust layer from the windstorm last Sunday before the most recent storm
The snow is actually pretty fun where there isn't big rocks.
