Comments
Dry loose "push-a-lanches" in high rocky terrain, but not much else to speak of before our 1:30 exit. The light winds and powder on small-grained facets made for excellent skiing conditions, good bouncy turns on low angle. We noted a few crusts around the north end of the compass about 10,000ft, not much of a concern right now, but something to watch.
Our loose-dry "push-a-lanche" video shows the hazard and the consequence. With more snowfall, these small avalanches could push one into trees, rocks, and other obstacles we don't want to tango with.
