Went to check out the site of the recent Silver Fork burial. Found 6-8 inches of new snow from Sunday. We experienced localized cracking and collapsing of the PWL on various test slopes. Throughout the tour we made sure to space out when needed and stay in low angle terrain. Wet avalanches will probably be an issue by early afternoon.
