New snow on the PWL. I was told this area may have slide earlier this year... so sounds like a repeater, but I can't confirm that

A partner and I parked at Spruces, crossed the road and skinned up Mill D North Fork. We skinned passed Dog Lake and up towards Little Water Peak, but stopped short to ski a lap in Shangri-La... our objective for the day. We had a great first lap and although we knew the danger for the day, we didn't see/hear/feel and instability on the aspects we were on. We skinned up and took another lap in the same area. On the way up the second lap we got one whumpf that we both noticed and chatted about (in the trees on a 20-25° slope). We chatted briefly about it and continued. It was our 2nd lap and there were likely 2 or 3 skiers that had used the skin track (likely the 5-6 skiers on the skin track when we got the whumpf).
After our 2nd lap in Shangri-La we decided to summit Little Water Peak to ski out the south aspect and back out Mill D North Fork. Just before summitting, we started getting a view of the ridge and bowl on the other side of Firewater. My partner pointed the crown and avalanche out to me.
We didn't want to get to close to investigate, but the crown appeared to be 12"-24" deep. The debris was piled up against the pine trees, but the main debris pile was out of site in or below the trees. There was a skin track on the ridge so we would guess the avalanche occurred either naturally or a remote trigger from the uphill skier(s). This was a NNW slope at approx 9200'.
