Observed multiple feet of very weak faceted snow on steep north-facing terrain at the headwalls at the top of Porter Fork. Performed ski cuts from tree to tree and the snow just didn't support me, sloughing all the way down the run. I'm sure this will avalanche after the upcoming storm if there is a trigger.
