Problem #1 Comments
East winds on Tuesday night built drifts on slopes with weak layers near the surface consisting of sugary faceted snow. This weekend people could still trigger these, as small wind slab avalanches, in steep drifted terrain at upper and mid elevations.

Comments
The widespread poor snow structure setup consists of very weak sugary snow called near surface facets above a crumbly deteriorating crust. Chains of well developed faceted snow below it.
Video
We're finding very weak snow in many areas, but lacking a cohesive slab, the snow in most places is currently stable.
