The return of winter feels nice, although it was getting warm by the end of the day, especially in the sun. Cloud ceiling seemed to be at about 9000' or so for much of the day.

Snow Characteristics Comments
Much nicer snow conditions after the couple inches of new snow but still variable depending on aspect and elevation. Seemed to be getting more moist and sticky on solar aspects as day progressed.

Problem #1 Comments
Found some steep areas near cliffs bands where very small natural dry loose and small cornice fall had happened (East), and kicked off a small dry loose while skiing (North East), but no real notable avalanche activity otherwise. Seems like the wind is moving snow and setting up (pictured is on South facing ridgeine), but still soft.
