Snow Characteristics Comments
Loud POW or NSF takes the lead as the most pronounced snow surface. And man, it's been growing into large grain crystals for about the past 10 days. Weakest NSF is found on mid elevation, wind and sun sheltered, E-NE aspects
where the snow has become so weak it simply sluffs along with you as you descend the slope. Slopes steeper than about 37 degrees, literally create facet sluffs that fan out in front of you
Comments
The range is fat and white and offers lots of possibilities.
