The PWL is buried deeply at this point and it would take finding a thin spot in the snowpack to activate it.

On a go anywhere base we found a deep and stable snowpack. Really not much to report on other than a weakening snow surface. Surface and near surface faceting were widespread throughout the area traveled and faceting under solar crusts was common. These aren't a concern now but may be once we get more snow. I did make for fun skiing.
