A tale of two pits: We dug a couple pits in near proximity in the upper Wills Hill zone of Willow Fork and found highly variable structure and stability test results based on overall snowpack depth (as expected). Both pits were W, 9800' 29° and ~100' apart but 30cm different in overall depth to the ground. 140cm deep pit= ECTX (weak layer of concern 4F facets with 1 F slab above 110cm deep Pit= ECTP14, ECTP6 on Fist facets with pencil minus slab above
