FORECASTER NOTE - Thanks for sending this photo. It appears to be surface hoar. In general the snow surface is getting surface hoar forming on it in places. It is weakening. However, a lot can and will change between now and the next snowfall. We'll be paying close attention to what happens to the snow surface. MS
