Problem #1 Comments
I dug to the ground in 4 places in the meadows today. Below 8800-9K there are no facets or they have bonded well on east and northeast. At 9600' on NE is the video above there are some facets but it is starting to bond and heal. 95cm deep. CTN
At 9500' on an E facing slope it was 95cm deep, there were no facets, there was a less dense layer but it had enough moisture to make a great snow ball.
At 9600' SE facing it was 140 cm deep. There was about 15cm of frozen solid facts at the ground with 10 cm of less dense facets that could make a snowball with some compressing. Otherwise right side up snow pack on top of that. Slopes were crusty unless they had a tilt of north to them.
