Comments
We took two laps on a treed NE face with an average gradient of <30. On the third lap my partner witnessed a "massive collapse" of the snowpack as i rode past him. I finished my line unawares only to hear about it on my radio. He was at an island of safety and in general our overall safety protocols of keeping to low angle slopes with tree coverage and never exposing both parties kept this from being an accident/avalanche report
