Winds picked up noticeably around 10:15am out of the southwest gusting easily in the
30s. Witnessed alot of snow transportation in the 10,000ft and up arena. Noticed some cracking in obvious windslabs. Stayed away from potential windslabs above exposure.

found an interesting layer around 175cm, looked like large rounds maybe grauple?
took our time today poking around. Noticed large cornice formations happening on blackbess ridge and farther down towards silverfork headwall when the clouds broke. Massive amounts of snow transportation happening up high in LCC. the southfacing snow was a delight to ski, found a softslab of new snow from last night and it seemed to be working well into the recent storm snow. I would imagine with these high winds and forecasted snow for tonight our windslab and stormslab problems will continue to get worse.
