Red Flags Comments
I dug a quick pit at 9800’ East aspect. HS 159. I was surprised to see so much snow. I was in a protected mid slope pit. The PWL presented some melt cluster bonds. It appears that the PWL will be gaining strength with the depth of the snowpack and small temperature gradients. [Forecaster Comment: We hope!]
