Comments
It is worth mentioning, as a follow-up to the Wills Hill observation, that the "avy #1" in the photo was likely my remote trigger that I was unaware of. Wills hill was my final run of the day and I knew to expect cracking and collapsing after having skied several other slope starting from Gaurdsman Pass.
I had assumed the slope angle was appropriate for the day, but the extent and length of the cracking was very alarming and I quickly abandoned the slope to the skiers right into the trees.
Knowing that the rollover to steeper terrain was located at the lower portion, and now having seen the remote trigger photos, it would have been better call to avoid that area of the slope altogether.
