No red flags observed this morning while skinning up Collins Gulch, but visibility was low and I wouldn't be surprised if naturals ran on all aspects. Evidently the wind blew hard and from every which way over the past 24+ hours, so my partner and I avoided steep, open terrain.
We skied a treed NW-facing slope, which for the most part held dense, wind affected powder, while in other spots the wind had transported the new snow and exposed the hard, crusty layer below.
