Dug a pit at 7600 ft, NNE aspect 36 degree slope angle. 130 cm snow in total. No results from any tests, but when I tipped the ECT thick slab from behind, it broke on the sugary snow near the ground. While still comprising the bottom 30 cms of the snowpack, these sugary grains were more consolidated and bonded together than I've seen all season.
