Cornices still exist on the Patsey Marley ridgeline looking over twin lakes. I suppose some of the new snow has been transported by wind, but this was not obvious to me as I was skinning this morning.
Comments
Mostly 2-3" of new snow on top of the icy crusty mess that is underneath it. Certain knobs and ridges had a bit more snow and in some spots it was enough to not reach down to the crust as I was skiing. I observed a few very small dry loose releases down in Heaven's Gate on isolated, steep features.
