Comments
Weather was partly cloudy, light winds out of the West, pit location was free from shade, or wind loading. Snow surface shows some signs of light warming, but otherwise higher density settled powder. Overall snow stability was very good. Total snow depth of 165cm. Right side up from Fist down to 1 Finger+ from the top down (I did not have a pencil or knife). The bottom 20-50cm was faceted, sugary, and unbonded. Slab measured about 130 cm, right side up and well bonded. Old/New snow interface from the last storm showed excellent bonding charcteristics. Extended column test showed no propagation, no collapses, no sign of instability.
