Problem #1 Comments
Skied shallow slopes (15-25 degrees) on the north face topping out at 8,050'. The snow pit was 70 cm deep at 25 degrees. ECT of 24 with a break at 30 cm above ground without propagation. Snow was fist hard shifting to 4 finger until 30 cm, where there was a pencil hard slab about 10 cm tall, facets underneath to the ground. Whole test pit broke once forced from behind at about 20 cm. These results were better than what we saw 2 weeks ago in our pit and last week while skinning.

Comments
Snow was a bit weird. For some portion of our skin track it felt like standing on a pile of crackers. Over one second you would sink 30 cm, but in 2.5cm increments. We never saw cracking, or collapsing, or heard whoomphing.
