New snow from Saturday seemed to overload some steep aspects in lower bear trap glades, saw cracking and little slides that ran a few yards but were too the ground, even in trees. New snow this week is going to make things scary. The snow feels stable but 4+ feet down is a gnarly layer of sugar.
