Comments
Dug a pit east facing around 9600 feet. Snow depth is now around 5 feet. ECTX, but we still have a very noticable weak layer near the ground with a hard slab above and new snow on top. Everything is still faceted, and based on avalanche activity in the area (including the monster slide in Cardiac and slides in LSB and Mid Ivory) it is still very prone to slide.
