Avalanche Problem #1
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Trend
Same
Problem #1 Comments
Found same layers everyone is tracking at this mid elevation west aspect. Buried NSF upper mid pack (This seemed to be healing at this location), Basal facets still there but at this data point the weakest part at the top of the basal facets seems to be gaining some strength (4f+ - 1f-). This is to be expected considering some moderate temps and the load compressing that layer (HS~140cm at this location). This is just one data point, so I wouldn't change my conservative travels plans just yet. We'll see how this tracks.
