Snow Characteristics Comments
It seemed like the storm snow was about 7" in depth and it snowed 1-2" during the 4 hours or so we were on the slope. The snow was very uniformly distributed with no signs of wind. It was right side up and made for good riding.

Red Flags Comments
The main red flag is the PWL, it was down near the ground just about everywhere I did a hasty pit with my pole. The height of snow was about 45-50 inches in the 8-9k zone. We got no collapses or cracking. Really, we saw no signs of instability at all except for that hollow layer that seems to be everywhere when you stick your pole in handle first. We were very careful to keep to low-angle terrain. There was a little sluff above where we skied in the steep starting zone as you head up towards the Mineral/Mill B ridgeline. I tried to capture the sluff in a picture but the light was too flat and obscured, so I didn't bother attaching the photo.
