High snowfall rate this afternoon. Guess is 2"/hr for a short period of time. Lots of cracking in the surface snow, had some tiny storm slabs ~4" deep breaking on small terrain features while breaking trail. I would bet anything bigger/steeper would have slid during the high PI this afternoon.
If we get a larger load tonight I’d expect the storm snow to be reactive in the morning
