Harrowing winds from the S-SW this morning, depositing a mix of rain and snow and creating dense wind slabs above a poor snowpack structure.

This morning was warm, and the wet new created a very dense layer of snow on top of lighter snow/facets, which I imagine will be of concern in the near future and perhaps the rest of the season.

A grab bag of dense new and wind slab. Cracking in abundance.
More snow and wind over the next 24+ hours and I imagine the avalanche danger will elevate further going into the weekend.
