Winds were nuking along the ridges and getting into more, traditionally sheltered terrain.

It's a mixed bag of snow surfaces, running the full gamut, including some dense creamy snow still found in very wind sheltered terrain.

I experienced a few sudden collapses and shooting cracks, though the snowpack isn't quite as vocal as a few days ago.

The most obvious avy problem are fresh wind drifts and they're forming lower downslope and around terrain features like chutes and gullies.
