A lot of snow transport is loading / cross loading lee-side aspects. Surface snow is noticeably denser and more cohesive anywhere exposed to and just leeward of wind.

Poor snowpack
The snow transport is continuing to load an already unstable snowpack while simultaneously creating much harder and denser slabs than we have seen in previous days.
Comments
Saw a lot of widespread cracking on the way into promise land. Snow is noticeably slabbier on Lee side than it has been in previous days. Snow in the trees sheltered a bit more from the wind was quite delightful, though still ground brush to hop over.
