The new snow skied great but the snowpack has such a terrible and shollaow structure that we hit a lot of rocks and stumps. Definitely had the trapdoor feeling as we skied through the new snow into the facets.

HS 93 over rocks.
ECTX. We saw failure in new snow old now interface with no propagation. The entire snowpack was fist hard and was not cohisve enough for any propagation. We did experience loud callapsing and saw cracking in new snow in protected trees.
