Comments
Northeast winds were moving snow onto west and south west aspects. Wind drifts on some terrain features were nearly two feet deep. We cracked out a car sized wind pocket along the west ridge of Patsy. It wasn't steep enough to slide, but in steeper terrain it would be enough to knock you off your feet or take you for a ride. With clear skies and decreasing winds I would imagine the wind slabs on solar aspects will be mostly settled out by tomorrow. In sheltered areas there seemed to be about 2 inches of new snow.
