Majority of USA bowl is pretty wind scoured as we approached the ridge, with less wind affect by the aspen stands. Small cornices developing over the New England-Canadian border with a few either intentional or natural releases of small amounts of debris. Based on the skin track, other skiers' turns, we opted to stay east of the Mississippi. We skied close to the skin track, careful in the aspens for stumps and down logs. Did not see any cracking on the remaining wind depeleted snowpack. While the snowpack was low, no evidence of bare earth... yet.
