Comments
Walked up Willow Heights to the top of W monitor today, the wind wasn't bad down in the drainage but was blowing fairly hard and moving snow on the high Ridgeline, checked out Drew's slide in W monitor, mid slope remotely triggered, definitely fits the bill for our snowpack, unpredictable and a bit sketchy, the wind was cranking out of the NW most of the day moving snow and creating loaded slopes on the N end of the compass, things are far from stabilizing at the moment, but people continue to tease the cat on McDonald's and Dutches, canyons slack county. Just to be clear, these are not storm slabs that settle out quickly, we have a deep slab problem at the moment and they don't just go away the day after a storm.
photos : slide in WM , wind filling in the skin track as fast as you can make it
